Hi Fits!
Since I will be traveling next week (Thursday - Tuesday) I've decided to work ahead and get you your next two weeks of WOWs. The "regulars" won't be in attendance from 5/2-5/7, but by all means meet up with one another and get some quality workouts in!
Monday 4/29: @ 9 a.m. VAC for a swim and an outdoor road bike to follow. Meet at the Wades for the bike at 10:30 a.m. 20 mile tempo.
Thursday 5/2: @ 6:30 p.m. for the Cobble Hobble 4 mile run coffee and conversation to follow. Check FB for updates from attendees.
Friday 5/3-Tuesday 5/7: ON YOUR OWN
** If anyone is interested in cheering on a few of your very own Misfits, Stan, Kyla, Al and myself will be racing St. George (as in Utah) 70.3 (half ironman) on Saturday 5/4. There is a cool app you can download called "IronTrac" where you can keep tabs on all of us.
Bib numbers are as follows:
Kyla Kuhnlein: 1000
Special K: 1067
Zen Al: 1894
Stain: 1884
Wednesday 5/8: @ 9 a.m. VAC for an easy swim. Followed by a mountain bike at Saw Wee Kee in Oswego @ 11 a.m.
Thursday 5/9: @ 6:30 p.m. for the Cobble Hobble 4 mile run coffee and conversation to follow. Check FB for updates from attendees.
Friday 5/10: @8 a.m. VAC for a swim and a run to follow outside if weather permits.
Saturday 5/11: @ 9 a.m. at Big Rock for a mountain bike and trail run immediately following.
OR
@ 8 a.m. if you're interested North Central Cyclery in DeKalb is hosting a 55 mile "training" ride for their annual Gravelmetric. This is free of charge. Just note, 95% of this ride is on gravel roads, use an appropriate bike, either CX or mountain. Also, Al and I WILL NOT be at this event, just an option for folks looking for sumthin' diff.
Cheers,
SpecialK
