Dave, aka Cousin Eddie and Ryno, I swear nothing happened!
Special K @ Rock Cut Survivor 20K, negotiating the muck!

Hey Fits,

Thanks to those who bravely wore a National Lampoons themed costume to my birthday party last week. As you can see, it was quite a site! Yikes! Alcohol makes it better, I promise! So, the party was fun. The 20K on Saturday was also a blast! Al placed 2nd in his age group and Kristen placed 1st in hers and was second female overall.

The next group run is scheduled for Thursday, March 24th @ 9 ish at the Great Western Trail. Txt or Tweet for specific parking instructions. Al and Kristen are planning on a 20-22 miler to get ready for Boston in a month but if you need a shorter route, we're planning on making the car a central meeting point to cutting out early won't be a problem.

Hope to see some of you out there! Hopefully the weather will hold off. Besides, I just got some new, on clearance running gloves and beanie that I want to try out thanks to Geneva Running Outfitters. Thanks Erick!

See ya lates!

Happy Running,

Special K

Cousin Eddie and 20K

It's that time of year again! MY BIRTHDAY yippie! The chosen theme has expanded to more than just dressing as Cousin Eddie. You may choose your favorite National Lampoons character. Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed character.

There will be food, however if you have a fav dish, please, bring it. Also, there will be random booze served that I find in my pantry. I know for certain one of the bottles has a worm in it...ewwww yuck! So, again if you would like to drink something specific.....bring it too.

Hope to see a good showing of Fits out there. There will be no exercising involved so there's really no reason to not show up!

Although  . . . if I find you on my floor or anywhere in my house Saturday morning, you're going to accompany Al, Stan and I to Rock Cut for the final installment of the Survivor Trail Series run. This is the longest at 12.4 miles (20K) over what has been reported as 30-40% icy and muddy terrain!

Hope to see you at one or the other of the above events.

Luving all of you!

Twitterers

Hey Fits,

So the tweeting is gaining momentum. So far we have half a dozen convinced to drink from the Kool-Aid pitcher!

Big group ride planned for tommorrow. Stain, Dani, Karen, Erick, Al, myself and possibly Dave Verner have stated they wanna partake in the pain. I still have an extra trainer available if anyone else isn't too yellow bellied!!!

Peace out
